Pampers Sensitive Baby Wipes Refills, 192-Count Packages, Pack of Four (768 wipes) Review.
"The flap is back." 2009-11-01
By Michael McClure (Seattle, WA)
I don't have anything to add about the quality of this product. They are good. I just wanted to update folks with the fact that I just received a shipment of these and the flap that allows you to open and reseal the package is there. I still have packages of the old ones (we still had a whole box of the ones we ordered over a year ago when my toddler needed them, and we opened it with the arrival of our twins) and the only difference between the old packaging and new packaging is that the old packaging has an arrow and "open here" right by the resealable flap. Now there is no printing indicating the existence of the flap, but it is there.
"Great for sensitive skin; packaging holds up to repeated use" 2009-01-06
By Simbolina (Bellevue, WA USA)
These wipes are great. They are very soft and don't irritate my daughter's skin, who is prone to eczema.
They also work in the wipe warmers (when you pull one out, it pulls another one up through the slot like a tissue. The Huggies wipes I tried did not do that, and you had to fish around for a new wipe each time.)
Each package is wrapped in plastic with a resealable strip that holds up to repeated use. The generic wraps I've tried often are packaged in thinner plastic that rips when you try to pull open the adhesive cover, or the adhesive loses its stickiness before the last wipe is used.
I keep a package in every room my baby plays in. If I had one complaint it is that 192 wipes is really overkill for the diaper bag, so I put some in a separate container or plastic bag, but that's the same with all brands I've tried (and it's the perfect amount of wipes for the wipe warmer, which I recommend for anyone who needs to change a diaper in the middle of the night, or whose baby doesn't like to get changed).
"Pampers are perfect :)" 2008-12-23
By Sarah R. Montee (Milwaukee, WI USA)
We had initially purchased a tub of wipes with the plastic dispenser case - this is the perfect followup to that tub... Keep the tub and buy these - they are very economical if bought from amazon in bulk like this and you don't have to keep throwing away the tubs - these insert packs are great...and with free super-saver shipping you really can't go wrong! (No I'm not paid by amazon, but I know a good deal when I see one) :)
"BEST WIPES ON THE MARKET, BY FAR!" 2009-03-01
By Bladen's Mommy (Memphis, TN)
I was told to use Pampers wipes and diapers from the beginning, but received some of the Huggies wipes at my shower. I decided to use them and they were like sand paper compared to Pampers brand. Yes, they are thicker, but the Pampers remove the poo just as well, if not better. I went by what would feel best to my baby, and that was the Pampers, as I knew they felt better to me. I can't say enough good things about Pampers wipes and diapers for that matter. I didn't even use the rest of the pack of Huggies, on my baby, I just couldn't do it. I hope this helps any parent trying to choose the best thing for their baby
"LOVE these Wipes!!!" 2009-08-07
By Kelley J. Secondo (Burlington, VT USA)
I LOVE these wipes!!! They are strong, yet soft/gentle on my little guys tush. Also, for those mom and dad's out there that sometimes forget to close the top of the wipe dispensor.... it's okay. The first wipe might dry out but that's it. I left the dispensor opened all day and only the first wipe dried out.
And for all those messy blow out poops...these wipes can handle the job! I wouldn't recommend any other wipe!
I am very disappointed in Pampers. I received a bulk order of wipes and it's true.... they no longer have the resealable strip. What a huge disappointment in the packaging of this great product!!!! I don't mind using the plastic tub at home but when I travel or provide wipes for daycare, the resealable strip is more convenient. Kelley Secondo
